Class Description:
Take part in a Professional Development service day with Springdale FoodCorps Service Members to learn how to implement state standards into garden and outdoor spaces. You will receive tools to implement your own garden lessons as well as cooking in the classrooms. This day is open to both primary and secondary professionals of all garden and cooking skill levels. It will include opportunities to create engaging lessons with and without physical garden spaces at your school. Every attendee will have the opportunity to discover new skills, strategies, and resources to refresh and enhance student learning utilizing outdoor spaces.
