Class Description: Using the district's initiatives of MathQuEST, IM, and the New Art and Science of Teaching (NASOT), this class will give practical examples of how to weave together the various effective practices with a focus on Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) to design classroom activities and structure note-taking to foster active student engagement and increase ownership in the learning process.
