Arkansas History Instructional Planning

Class Description: Teachers will get an overview of the new Arkansas History standards, ideas on how to create engaging and creative lessons at ANY grade level, as well as vetted resources to support student learning and interest. After a morning of interactive learning and collaboration, we will visit the Shiloh Museum to learn more about how to inspire student learning of local history and the resources they provide for teachers at no cost! This professional development will be perfect for anyone new to Arkansas History, for veteran AR hist teachers or any social studies teacher interested in incorporating fresh ideas into their classroom.
