Establishing and Maintaining a Climate for Learning
Class Description:
This session will connect the New Art and Science of Teaching instructional strategies with the instructional concepts outlined in the book Kids Come in All Languages, chapter 2, Establishing a Maintaining a Climate for Learning. Knowledge of these two texts will not be necessary as we will combine the concepts in the two resources into a meaningful day of learning and instructional planning. Come prepared to enhance a lesson or build a new one using the instructional strategies you learn in this professional development.
