T3 Building a Competitive and Cooperative Math Culture via Technology
|
Class Description: The purpose is to build up student excitement about success in math. While technology is a component of this lesson, it's also about a whole approach to demonstrating math achievement. What I'll be showing is how to organize students into groups, how they respond either via white boards or on Kahoot.it, and how to encourage groups to work cooperatively. I'll also show how students can develop their own quizzes on Kahoot.it. I'll probably toss in how to do math with Google Classroom, but I imagine Classroom is probably being covered elsewhere. I might have something else to try too. |
