Technology in the CCSS Classroom
Class Description:
Teachers will learn how easy it is for students to write and publish using the IPAD app "StoryKit". Teachers will learn how students can find and save an image that illustrates their text, write to describe it, then publish it. Students can also use sound to allow their readers to not only read the text, but also listen to it being read to them. Students are engaged and instruction is meaningful, purposeful, and productive. Teachers will also learn about resources from readwritethink.org that engage students to create products that don't involve paper and pencil. These products can easily be printed or shared.
