Class Description:
Building Better Brains through movement is a one day professional development utilizing a combination of brain research on learning and exercise. The latest neuroscience of learning is integrated into classroom learning. Strategies that teach academic content kinesthetically are layered throughout the presentation. Academic concepts are reinforced through intentional movement to engage students, enrich curricula concepts, and invigorate the brain and body while enjoying learning."PARTICIPANTS SHOULD DRESS READY TO PARTICIPATE IN LIGHT TO MODERATE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT THE DAY."
