Getting Started with Differentiation: Ideas and Issues to Consider
Class Description:
For teachers who work in typical classrooms the range of learners in terms of their varying readiness levels, learner profiles and interests can be extensive. Even the most experienced teacher might find having a variety of learning experiences happening at the same time, difficult to design and limited by the lack of teaching strategies in their repertoire. This session will explore some key elements of a differentiated classroom, suggesting some strategies that teachers might start with in differentiating instruction to create a better “fit” for the learners in their charge.
