Kurzweil Reader is a software program that can read aloud any scanned material. With the click of the mouse, students can listen to a passage, click on a word to hear a definition or synonym, or highlight important ideas. Besides reading material, this software can help students in the following areas: summarizing, note taking, creating outlines, test taking, and much more.
