Teaching Phonics in the K-2 Classroom
Class Description:
The debate is somewhat over. Phonics is an important part of a comprehensive literacy program. This session will cover research-based methods of teachng phonics including whole phonics, systematic phonics, analogy phonics, and embedded phonics. Participants will leave with teaching strategies and helpful handouts.
