Class Description: All students, from the unconsciously skilled to the consciously unskilled, must understand how to interact with text to construct meaning. This session will demonstrate how to model comprehension by setting a purpose for the reading then using that purpose as a filter through which students skim, scan and highlight. Application to Benchmark tests, End of Course exams, and course content will be addressed. | |||
