Music and Video in the Language Arts Classroom
Class Description:
This session will involve demonstration and ideas on how music and video can be used to help students identify, understand, and apply literacy concepts and devices such as metaphor, irony, inference, symbolism, theme and tone. We will focus on higher-order thinking skills and application through the use of meaningful, relevant music and video that young adults relate to.
