Gangs and Other Security Threat Groups
Class Description:
Presentation will give a brief overview of gangs and other security threat groups and ways in which the school-community should consider preventing and responding to such groups. Topics covered will include items such as gangs being a school-community issue, manner in which any response should be focused, psych-social dynamics associated with gangs/cults, school officials' response, and teachers' response.
