Class Description:
Description: Imagine what could happen if our special education teachers were freed from the confines of a master schedule to serve students in any class at any time, all based on the individual needs of students and teachers! This model emphasizes flexibility and responsiveness to meet student needs. This can work wonders by empowering all students to reach higher levels of learning while building the capacity of all teachers...but it requires some clear systems to stay organized and efficient. This session is for everybody who interacts with special education - so that means you! Attendees will leave this training with: spreadsheets for service minutes tracking and scheduling, tools and strategies to help support students with IEPs, spreadsheets to track accommodations, spreadsheet tips and tricks, a better vision for how this could work in your school.
